There’s no doubt about it – the role of the CIO has changed significantly, and permanently, since the start of the pandemic.  And these changes keep showing up.

The CIO and IT department have always been “change agents”.  But, in the past, there were more opponents to the technology changes than supporters.  That is the significant change that has happened.

Managers and leaders throughout the organisation have begun to realise just how both current and new technologies are going to help to spearhead the organisation forward.

The CIO is going to be a really busy person going forward.
