CIOs! Optimize the Business Value of Tech Investments with the OKR Framework

I’m sure that, as CIO, you have heard of the OKR Framework.  But, have you started using it yet?  Have you tried to use it but it didn’t work out for you?

In this article, the author, Margo Visitacion, shows tech execs how to start with a pilot program to provide a relevant objective, identify cross-functional key results, time-box the time periods to collaboratively measure OKRs, and use defined key results to focus work.

The OKR Framework is well established and used by many of the global organisations such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Netflix, Dropbox, LinkedIn, and many others.  Google started using the framework in 1998 with 60 people.  They continue to use it today and Larry Page attributes OKRs to helping the organisation grow 10x many times over.
