TalentAlign.com is about "Organisational Effectiveness through People". This means that, not only are we concerned with the "effectiveness" of the organisation in its ability to achieve it’s strategic goals, but our emphasis is on the "people" element of this ability.

What We Offer:

Our primary product is our knowledge and ability to successfully implement Talent Management. This we do by implementing a tried a trusted methodology assisted by specific "tools" and quality assurance standards as well a measurements to ensure return on investment.

The foundation of good Talent Management is a system of well-defined Job Descriptions that define the roles needed to deliver strategy, and a comprehensive Competency Framework that defines the Competencies needed for successful delivery of the outcomes of the jobs.

We provide a comprehensive suite of Role Descriptions and a Competency Framework that goes across the entire IT organisation. "Role Descriptions" as opposed to "Job Descriptions" because the way that organisations structure the roles is their individual strength, and gives each organisation it’s competitive edge.

Role Descriptions and Competency Profiles can be customised onsite and downloaded to become "Job Descriptions and Competency Profiles" for each Subscriber organisation.

Supporting the Role Descriptions are a number of other products – for "pay" and for "free". The "for pay" product includes a generic organisational structure of IT roles, and our unique "Role Progression Matrix" which lists over 200 "roles" identified in the IT industry and shows the progressive development of IT staff through most of the popular job grading systems.

We also provide a number of "tools" for Talent Management implementation such as:

  • Goal Setting Workshop - to assist with goal setting and cascading goals down the organsation for effective performance management.
  • Project Plan - to assist the organisation in mapping out their route to Talent Management.
  • Change Management Plan - that provides an overview of elements to be included in the change process of the Talent Managment implementation.
  • IT Level Descriptors - based on a number of well-known "grading systems" that defines the core competencies and job requirements for up to 10 levels in an IT organisation.
  • IT Career Development Roadmaps - that define the career paths available for individuals in the IT organisation
  • Separation Cost Calculator - calculates the "real" cost of employee separation - by organisation, by department, by team, by employee category
  • Surveys - We have a number of surveys, including Employee Engagement, Exit Surveys, etc. available on our website for the use of our clients.
  • We develop new "tools" on a continual basis to ensure that our clients have as much help as possible in their Talent Management implementation.
